Body of Young Man Discovered in Sujan Ganga Canal, Sent to RBM Hospital Morgue

Jaipur, May 23: A shocking incident unfolded in the Chouburja area of the Mathura Gate police station jurisdiction in Bharatpur, where the body of a young man was found floating in the Sujan Ganga Canal.

On Sunday morning, local residents spotted the body in the canal and immediately alerted the police. The Mathura Gate police arrived at the scene and enlisted the help of the Civil Defense team to retrieve the body.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Narendra Kumar from the Mathura Gate police station reported that they received information about the body around morning hours. Upon arrival, the police found the body situated in the middle of the canal, making retrieval challenging. The Civil Defense team was called in, and after considerable effort, they managed to recover the body.

As news spread, a large crowd gathered at the site. Police attempted to identify the deceased by asking those present, but no one could recognize him. Authorities estimate the man to be around 30 years old. During the search, no identification or documents were found on him that could aid in establishing his identity.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the body may have been in the water for approximately three days. Given the condition of the body, it appears he had been submerged for a significant period. However, the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

Currently, the police have placed the body in the morgue of RBM Hospital in Bharatpur. They are gathering information from nearby police stations to identify the young man and are also reviewing missing persons reports.
