BJPs Rohan Gupta Criticizes Congress for Ignoring Student Issues

Jaipur, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Rohan Gupta, the National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has launched a strong critique against Congress and its leader in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, regarding their “Students’ Voice” initiative. Speaking in Jaipur on September 8, Gupta highlighted the plight of students in Jharkhand and Telangana, accusing Congress of failing to address their needs.

“After Jharkhand, the reality of student neglect in Telangana has come to light,” Gupta stated. He questioned how long Congress would continue to use programs like “Students’ Echo” as tools for political maneuvering rather than genuinely advocating for student interests. “If Congress truly cared about students, they would listen to their voices in the states where they govern and take concrete actions,” he added.

In response to the central government’s decision to reduce the LPG cylinder booking period from 45 days to 25 days, Gupta remarked on the opposition’s past claims during the Gulf War, which he deemed unfounded. “The BJP government understands public interests. We will not undertake any action that causes difficulties for the people,” he asserted, emphasizing that the government is committed to facilitating the self-reliant vision of India.

Gupta further stated, “We are not dependent on anyone. Even in the current abnormal conditions stemming from the Gulf War, the government’s proactive measures demonstrate our ability to manage significant global crises without adversely affecting the public.”

As for the upcoming municipal elections in Rajasthan, Gupta expressed confidence that the public is ready to support a “triple-engine” government. He noted the enthusiasm surrounding Chief Minister Bhajanlal’s roadshow in Jaipur, indicating a strong connection with the community. “The Congress has abandoned the field, leaving the game midway. The expectations from the BJP are high, and we will fulfill them. The lotus will bloom in every locality, and the negative propaganda by Congress will be exposed on the 14th,” Gupta concluded.
