Ranchi, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Central Minister of State for Defense and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth has written to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, requesting that the recently released Hindi film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ be declared tax-free in the state. In his letter, he emphasized the film’s social, spiritual, and cultural significance, recommending its exemption for the greater public good.
Seth described ‘Hanuman Ansh’ as a cinematic portrayal of Indian mythological culture, showcasing devotion to Lord Hanuman and high ideals as sources of inspiration in modern times. He noted that the film is primarily based on the life of the revered 20th-century Indian saint Neem Karoli Baba, who is considered an incarnation of Hanuman by his followers.
The minister pointed out that the people of Jharkhand hold a deep reverence for Neem Karoli Baba, with many pilgrims traveling from the state to visit the Kainchi Dham Ashram in Uttarakhand. He highlighted that the film effectively depicts timeless values such as truth, courage, and fidelity to dharma. Seth described it as a wholesome family film that can significantly aid in character building for the younger generation and enhance cultural engagement within society.
In his appeal to the Chief Minister, Seth stressed the necessity of making the film tax-free so that people from all walks of life can easily view it and absorb its spiritual messages. He expressed hope that the state government would take a positive decision on this matter and issue appropriate guidelines promptly.
