BJPs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Responds to Political Developments and Comments on Yoga

New Delhi, June 18: Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has addressed various political issues, including the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Kota, claims of opposition MPs joining the BJP, and comments made by TMC MP Mahua Moitra regarding religious practices.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s Kota visit, Naqvi remarked, “I observed similar theatrics in Kota. There was a light-and-sound show, and during the presentation, I noticed electronic fireworks. The desire to become a hero for Gen Z stems from a competition between cockroaches and Congress to prove who can be the country’s greatest revolutionary. This rivalry will be showcased through light-and-sound shows and entertainment events.”

On Donald Trump’s praise for Prime Minister Modi, Naqvi stated, “Those who attempted to diminish his influence have themselves faded away. I can only say that those who continue to move forward amidst storms are the ones who change the world. During times of crisis and challenges, India has presented itself as a strong economy with a capable and stable government. The world acknowledges India’s leadership.”

Commenting on the potential rifts within the TMC and Shiv Sena (UBT), as well as the rising dissent in the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, Naqvi asserted that the BJP is a party that unites rather than divides. “We do not hinder those who join us, nor do we interfere with those who choose to part ways. The internal issues of other parties are their own concerns,” he added.

In response to Mahua Moitra’s remarks on yoga, Naqvi emphasized that yoga is a golden key to health. He criticized those making communal statements about yoga, asserting they do not wish for peace and citizen well-being in the country. “Yoga is an ancient heritage of our nation. PM Modi has taken steps to bring yoga into every home, resulting in its connection with every individual.”
