BJP Legislators Meet in Shimla to Discuss Upcoming Assembly Session

Shimla, September 1: A significant meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative party took place in Shimla, chaired by Leader of the Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. The party’s state in-charge, Shrikant Sharma, attended the meeting to discuss key issues.

State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal and Organization Secretary Siddharthan were also present. All BJP legislators participated in the discussions.

The meeting focused on the upcoming assembly session, where Shrikant Sharma engaged in detailed discussions with the legislative party regarding various topics related to the session. He emphasized the importance of the assembly as a platform for democracy and urged the opposition to present significant issues affecting the public with strength and factual backing.

Shrikant Sharma called on the legislators to prioritize the problems and public interest issues from their respective constituencies and ensure active participation in the assembly proceedings.

Under Jairam Thakur’s leadership, the meeting also deliberated on the party’s strategy for the assembly session. Various legislators raised issues pertinent to their regions and broader state-level concerns, discussing how to effectively present these in the assembly.

In the presence of Organization Secretary Siddharthan, several organizational matters were discussed in detail. The party’s upcoming programs, organizational activities, and the need for continuous dialogue between the legislative party and the organization were key points of discussion.
