New Delhi, June 1: The National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Naveen, will hold a crucial meeting today with the heads of state units at the party headquarters in Delhi. It is anticipated that he will convey key messages shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state presidents.
Notably, according to the Election Commission’s announcement, elections for 24 Rajya Sabha seats across 10 states are scheduled for June 18. Discussions between Prime Minister Modi and the BJP core group on Sunday are considered significant in light of these elections and the upcoming legislative council elections.
The scheduled conversation between Nitin Naveen and the state unit leaders is seen as an effort to enhance strategies for the upcoming elections and to discuss activities planned to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Modi.
A party leader mentioned that BJP’s National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh and other national general secretaries will also participate in this brainstorming session to discuss strategies for the forthcoming elections. In addition to assessing state-level activities, discussions are expected to cover issues related to the expansion of the organization.
Strengthening the party at the booth level will also be a focal point, as the National President’s attention is directed towards the next phase of elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur, set for early 2027.
This meeting comes at a time when BJP’s state units are nearing the completion of training sessions for mandal-level workers under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maha Training Campaign.’ The aim of this extensive training initiative is to reach all mandals in the states and promote the ideologies of cultural nationalism and integral humanism among the workers.
