BJP Legislator Brijbhushan Rajput Escapes Major Accident in Mahoba

Mahoba, July 2: In a shocking incident in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, BJP legislator Brijbhushan Rajput narrowly escaped a serious accident when his escort vehicle was struck by an out-of-control truck. The collision left his government gunner, private guard, and driver injured. The accident occurred near the Kharrela police station area. The escort vehicle was severely damaged.

According to reports, Brijbhushan Rajput was returning from an event. His car was leading the convoy, followed closely by the escort vehicle carrying his government gunner and private guards. Suddenly, an uncontrolled truck approached from the opposite direction near the Sankat Mochan Temple in the Kharrela area.

Noticing the truck heading towards them, the driver of Rajput’s car acted swiftly, steering the vehicle off the road. This quick thinking saved the legislator’s car from a direct hit, preventing a potential disaster. However, the truck collided with the escort vehicle behind them, causing significant damage. The injured were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

Upon receiving news of the accident, local police arrived at the scene. Currently, there is limited information regarding the driver and owner of the truck involved in the collision. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.

Former MP Gangacharan Rajput has alleged an assassination attempt on the legislator’s son. He claimed to have alerted the state president, Pankaj Chaudhary, two months ago about a potential conspiracy to kill the legislator’s son, suggesting that threats have emerged following the raising of issues related to the Jal Jeevan Mission.

It is noteworthy that Brijbhushan Rajput is a prominent Indian politician. He represents the Charakhari constituency in the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and has been in office since 2017. He is the son of former MPs Gangacharan Rajput, who served in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
