New Delhi, September 1: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will kick off a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, September 17. This initiative will run from September 17 to October 17, marking 25 years of Modi’s public service, focusing on service, welfare, and public outreach.
As part of this campaign, the BJP will organize special outreach journeys starting from Modi’s birthplace, Vadnagar, and his work city, Kashi (Varanasi). Teams departing from these locations will engage with citizens across various regions of the country. The party has devised a comprehensive strategy for the journey from Vadnagar to Kashi. Additionally, rallies and outreach programs will be held in both north-south and east-west directions.
The month-long campaign will feature blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, health check-up camps, recognition for Anganwadi and ASHA workers, street plays, painting competitions, and events like ‘Namo Seva Gatha’. Special camps will be set up to reach beneficiaries of government schemes, while initiatives like the ‘National Youth Initiative Challenge’ will also be organized to engage the youth.
The BJP has highlighted three significant dates during the campaign: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, and October 7, marking 25 years of Modi’s public service. Special service and welfare programs will be conducted on these occasions.
In Delhi, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be jointly operated by the Delhi government and the Delhi BJP. A meeting attended by BJP President Harsh Malhotra and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta outlined the campaign’s framework. According to the BJP, the initiative aims to disseminate information about welfare schemes from both central and state governments while organizing extensive service activities.
The BJP asserts that this campaign will connect Prime Minister Modi‘s birthday with a message of service, dedication, and welfare, aiming to reach various segments of society.
