
New Delhi, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey in public service will be commemorated with a nationwide initiative called the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.’ The announcement was made by BJP National President Nitin Naveen during a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi. He highlighted that October 7 marks the completion of Modi’s quarter-century of dedicated service.
From September 17 to October 17, various programs will be held across the country to honor this milestone. A key event will be a service journey from Vadnagar, Modi’s birthplace, to Varanasi, where he currently serves as a Member of Parliament. This journey will traverse 17 states, involving groups of 50 youth at different stops to spread awareness about Modi’s contributions and the achievements of the central government.
Nitin Naveen stated that the journey symbolizes the connection between Modi’s political and service endeavors. On October 7, a ‘Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra’ will also take place, featuring bike rallies and foot marches nationwide. Participants will be encouraged to pledge their commitment to building a developed India.
Naveen emphasized the economic progress under Modi’s leadership, recalling a time of despair and stagnation when he took office. He noted that India was once labeled as part of the “Fragile Five” but has since emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, gaining international recognition and respect.
He also pointed to the government’s efforts in combating Naxalism, reporting significant progress in reducing its impact, with over 200 districts now returning to normalcy. Furthermore, he mentioned a shift in perspective regarding border villages, which were previously viewed as the “last villages” of the country but are now being recognized as the “first villages of India,” reflecting a change in developmental focus.
Nitin Naveen concluded by describing Modi’s journey from a grassroots worker to the ‘Prime Servant’ of the nation, attributing this transformation to a clear vision and a commitment to effecting qualitative changes in society. He highlighted the government’s success in lifting 25 crore families out of poverty as a testament to Modi’s leadership and vision.
The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan‘ aims to express gratitude for Modi’s 25 years of service while connecting the public to the ideals of service and nation-building. Naveen affirmed that it is the BJP’s responsibility to disseminate Modi’s message of dedication and service to as many people as possible.
