
New Delhi, June 5: The newly appointed President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab, Sardar Keval Singh Dhillon, met with the party’s National President Nitin Naveen at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Friday. The meeting was also attended by BJP National Secretary and Punjab Co-Incharge MLA Sardar Narendra Singh Raina, along with State Organization General Secretary Manthri Srinivasulu.
Dhillon expressed gratitude to the National President for entrusting him with the leadership of Punjab BJP. He assured that he would work collaboratively with all party factions and strengthen the organization by coordinating with leaders, officials, and workers across Punjab.
He expressed confidence that with the guidance of the national leadership and the collective efforts of party workers, the BJP would emerge as a formidable political force in Punjab. He aims for the party to form the government in the upcoming assembly elections in February 2027. During the meeting, strategies were discussed in detail regarding the welfare of Punjab’s farmers, creating job opportunities for the youth, and the roadmap for establishing a BJP government in the 2027 assembly elections.
Dhillon stated that the BJP is fully committed to making Punjab the best state in the country and will work tirelessly for the public’s welfare. He assured the National President that a special campaign would be launched to strengthen the organization at the booth level across the state in the coming days.
A highlight of the meeting was when Keval Singh Dhillon presented a portrait of ‘Sher-e-Punjab’ Maharaja Ranjit Singh to the National President. He shared insights about the glorious achievements and history of his ‘Sarkar-e-Khalsa’ governance. Dhillon emphasized that discussions were held on shaping the future of the BJP government in Punjab, inspired by Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s just, people-centric, and inclusive rule.
He concluded by stating that the BJP leadership is committed to advancing with every section of society and ensuring a golden, prosperous, and progressive future for Punjab.
