
Lucknow, June 5: Uttar Pradesh‘s Water Resources Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh, announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize various programs to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to reporters, he praised Modi’s leadership, service spirit, and efforts for the welfare of the poor.
Swatantra Dev Singh emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s entire public life has been dedicated to service, commitment, and good governance. He noted that under Modi’s leadership, the country has achieved new dimensions of development in recent years. Wishing the Prime Minister a happy birthday, he expressed hope that God grants him more strength to continue serving the nation and the poor.
He revealed that the BJP has decided to hold various programs from June 5 to June 21 to mark the completion of 12 years of the central government. These initiatives aim to inform the public about the government’s achievements and welfare schemes. The campaign’s objective is to communicate Modi’s dedication to service and upliftment of the underprivileged to every citizen.
The minister stated that the central government has consistently worked to integrate the most marginalized individuals into the mainstream. Initiatives include direct financial assistance to the poor, health security through the Ayushman scheme, free rations, and basic amenities like toilets. He highlighted that the benefits of government schemes are reaching eligible individuals directly, enhancing transparency and accountability.
Swatantra Dev Singh noted unprecedented development in road, rail, and air connectivity across the country. He claimed effective control over terrorism, Naxalism, and other internal security challenges has been established. Moreover, several significant decisions have been made to strengthen the nation’s unity and integrity.
He remarked that under Modi’s leadership, India’s global identity has been fortified, and the country’s respect on international platforms has grown. He referenced projects like Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, stating these initiatives have given a new identity to the country’s cultural heritage.
The minister reiterated that the government operates under the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.’ Various schemes are being implemented to empower farmers, youth, women, and the poor. He noted that today, women, farmers, and youth are becoming more self-reliant and are presented with new opportunities for advancement.
Swatantra Dev Singh mentioned the goal of a developed India by 2047, expressing Modi’s vision of placing India among the world’s leading nations. He expressed confidence that the country will progress rapidly in the coming years, with the government’s commitment to the welfare of the poor remaining steadfast.
In response to a question, he assured that the government is fully alert to the potential challenges posed by the monsoon and flooding. All necessary preparations have been made in flood-affected areas, and the administration is on high alert. He assured that every possible step will be taken to prevent loss of life and damage to farmers.
