Patna, April 14: Bihar is on the verge of announcing a new Chief Minister. A significant decision is expected on Tuesday. Minister Ramkripal Yadav shared his insights on this matter. He mentioned that an important party meeting will take place on Tuesday afternoon, involving members of the legislative party. This meeting will outline the future strategy. Notably, Shivraj Singh Chouhan from the central leadership is also expected to attend.
Yadav indicated that Nitish Kumar may resign from the Chief Minister position following his election to the Rajya Sabha, paving the way for a new leader. He acknowledged Kumar’s substantial contributions to Bihar’s development, which should never be forgotten. Yadav noted that there was a time when Bihar was viewed in darkness, but under Kumar’s leadership, the state has made significant progress. This is why people still hold him in high regard. He added that while the public would be saddened by Kumar’s resignation, it is ultimately a personal decision that cannot be contested.
Yadav also addressed the Women’s Reservation Bill. He stated that the government has begun working towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise, and the process will be completed soon. According to him, this initiative represents not just reservation but a significant transformation, heralding a new era for the country. The government is committed to empowering women, which will lead to substantial societal changes.
He criticized the opposition as well. Regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to West Bengal, Yadav remarked that while Gandhi is a prominent leader, the Congress party’s position in West Bengal has weakened significantly. The real contest now lies between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP, making it challenging for Congress to maintain its foothold there.
Yadav also took aim at Mamata Banerjee, stating that she appears anxious and is making emotional statements as she sees her political ground slipping away. He accused her of spreading false rumors and attempting to mislead the public. He clarified that his party respects all languages, castes, and religions, believing in equal opportunities for everyone.
He emphasized that the central government is working on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas,” and the public has supported Prime Minister Modi based on this trust. The government is committed to the nation’s development without discrimination, and this effort will continue.
