Bihar BJP President Responds to CM Nitish Kumars Resignation

Patna, March 30: Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi has reacted to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s resignation. He also targeted Mamata Banerjee regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections.

In an interview, Sarawagi stated, “CM Nitish Kumar is resigning from the MLC position today. He handed over his resignation to me before leaving for Assam on Sunday. According to regulations, the resignation will be accepted today.”

Commenting on Mamata Banerjee’s claims of a threat to her life, Sarawagi remarked, “As a chief minister, making such statements clearly indicates that Mamata Banerjee is anxious about losing. This time, she will not be the chief minister, and the TMC is set to lose. Mamata is providing shelter to infiltrators and Rohingyas, which is causing public outrage.”

Addressing accusations from the opposition about endangering citizens, the BJP state president said, “Despite ongoing conflicts in Gulf countries, the opposition and Congress are engaging in petty politics. During this crisis, the opposition should support the government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has communicated with the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and all state chief ministers. Yet, Congress continues to incite the public.”

Earlier on Sunday, Sarawagi stated, “The TMC government is sheltering infiltrators, refugees, and Bangladeshi citizens. Infiltrators and Rohingyas are exploiting West Bengal’s resources, leading to a shortage for the local population. The Muslim population in West Bengal is consistently rising. The entire government is focused on protecting Bangladeshis and infiltrators. In the coming days, Mamata Banerjee and the TMC will face the consequences. This time, the BJP will form the government, and Mamata will return home.”
