Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu Invites Singapores Startup Venture Capitalists for Partnership

Singapore, June 15: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu engaged with startup founders and venture capitalists during his visit to Singapore on Monday. He invited them to be part of the state’s development journey.

During his two-day trip, Naidu addressed a round table meeting with these entrepreneurs, emphasizing Andhra Pradesh’s vision for innovation, entrepreneurship, and global investment partnerships.

Naidu expressed his pleasure in meeting and discussing ideas with startup founders and venture capitalists in Singapore.

On social media platform ‘X’, he stated, “Venture capital plays a crucial role in transforming ideas into large-scale businesses, fostering innovation, taking risks, and building future industries. With our entrepreneurial population, initiatives like ‘One Family One Entrepreneur,’ and our commitment to the ‘Speed of Doing Business,’ Andhra Pradesh provides a strong foundation for innovation-driven growth.”

He added, “To encourage startups and create opportunities in emerging sectors, we have established institutions like the ‘Ratan Tata Innovation Hub.’ I have invited the investment community to partner with us, support revolutionary innovations, and be part of Andhra Pradesh’s growth story.”

Earlier, the Chief Minister met with Dr. Shilpak Ambule, India’s High Commissioner in Singapore. They discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration in areas such as investment, technology, advanced manufacturing, robotics, medical devices, education, and innovation.

Naidu highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s progress in natural farming, world-class agricultural and horticultural exports, and emerging opportunities in aviation MRO and shipbuilding.

Upon arriving in Singapore on Sunday evening, the local Telugu community warmly welcomed the Chief Minister. He thanked them for their generous reception.

Naidu’s visit aims to attract investment and review cooperation related to the development of Amaravati and other major infrastructure projects.

The Chief Minister will meet with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and industry leaders to discuss various areas of collaboration. He is also scheduled to participate in the ‘World Cities Summit’ and address the conference.

On Tuesday evening, Naidu will join a roadshow organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and meet with business leaders.
