Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Praises Modis Vision for a Developed India

Amaravati, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts to position India among developed nations. Speaking at the Varanasi-Vadnagar Seva Sankalp Yatra event, Naidu emphasized that Modi believes serving people is equivalent to serving the nation.

The event celebrated Modi’s 25 years in public life. Naidu highlighted various government initiatives and achievements, stating that Varanasi is significant as Modi’s political base, having been elected from there three times to the Lok Sabha. He remarked that Varanasi has not only chosen a leader for itself but has also given a leader to the country.

Starting his speech with a few words in Hindi, Naidu noted the ongoing transformation and progress in India. He claimed that under Modi’s leadership, 250 million people have risen above poverty, and 800 million have received free food grains. Initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission and AMRUT have provided drinking water facilities to four million households.

Naidu further mentioned that the PM Kisan scheme benefits 110 million farmers, with aid transferred directly to their bank accounts without intermediaries. He praised Modi for providing strong leadership during global crises, ensuring the welfare of 1.4 billion Indians.

Referencing the COVID-19 pandemic, Naidu highlighted India’s production of 200 million vaccine doses and the nation’s commitment to humanity by supplying vaccines to 101 countries free of charge. He noted that policies like Atmanirbhar Bharat have bolstered the ‘Make in India’ initiative, shifting India from being a major importer of defense equipment to an exporter.

Naidu emphasized Modi’s focus on emerging technologies, including space, drones, quantum technology, semiconductors, and robotics, which are creating new opportunities for youth. He pointed out that India now has 220,000 startups, enabling young people to become job creators rather than job seekers, placing India third globally in strong startup ecosystems.

He praised Modi’s initiatives for women’s welfare and empowerment, mentioning programs like Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Lakshmi Didis, Ujjwala, and Mudra Yojana. Naidu stated that self-help groups are enhancing women’s confidence and economic participation, and he believes the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which reserves 33% of legislative seats for women, will bring significant change.

Naidu concluded by asserting that India has emerged as a formidable global power, commending Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for Operation Sindoor, which addresses security challenges. He also spoke about the progress made against Naxalism and Maoism.

Additionally, Naidu praised the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, calling it the fulfillment of a long-standing aspiration. He expressed the Andhra Pradesh government’s intention to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara in Ayodhya and requested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to allocate 10 acres of land for this purpose.

The Seva Sankalp Yatra connects Modi’s parliamentary constituency of Varanasi with his birthplace, Vadnagar. Prior to the event, Naidu participated in prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple with Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Chirag Paswan, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
