New Delhi, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leader HS Phulka has leveled serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), claiming a conspiracy was orchestrated to disrupt peace in Punjab. During a recent protest in Delhi on October 10, Phulka asserted that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his team attempted to infiltrate the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib with their supporters to use it as a protest base. However, he noted, the plan failed due to police intervention at the entrance.
“This issue is crucial,” Phulka stated. “A significant conspiracy has been devised to disturb the peace of Punjab. People have stooped so low as to spread falsehoods to undermine the tranquility of the region. I am here to expose this conspiracy.” He elaborated that during the protest, AAP had orchestrated a scheme to send their supporters into Bangla Sahib, aiming to transform the sacred site into a protest hub.
Phulka emphasized that Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is not merely a location near Jantar Mantar for protests; it has historically served as a refuge for demonstrators. He recalled that in the past, during protests at the Boat Club, Bangla Sahib was a gathering point where protesters would rest and partake in community meals. “This place has always been regarded as the backbone of democracy,” he remarked, highlighting its significance across various administrations.
Despite the AAP’s intentions, Phulka claimed the scheme was thwarted when police arrived and halted the protesters at the entrance. “You have seen all the videos, and we will show you again. When these protesters tried to enter, the police blocked them at the gate. The police were stationed outside in large numbers but did not enter,” he explained. Phulka noted that the media was present to witness the events unfold, documenting the police’s actions and the intervention of the volunteers.
