
Mumbai, July 11: Actress Akanksha Ranjan is making headlines with her recent film ‘Ikka.’ This courtroom drama features her in a significant role alongside Sunny Deol and Akshay Khanna. Recently, Akanksha has also been captivated by the film ‘Dhurandhar,’ sharing a fun twist related to it on social media.
She posted some special behind-the-scenes moments from the film’s set. In one of the first images, she can be seen applying fake blood on herself. A video shared by Akanksha showcases a scene where Akshay’s character kills hers. Other glimpses included candid moments from the set.
In her caption, Akanksha referenced a popular dialogue inspired by Akshay’s character, Rahman Dacoit, from the blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar.’ She wrote, “Rahman Dacoit’s death is quite butcher-like. Have you seen ‘Ikka’?”
‘Ikka’ is a legal thriller directed and produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra. The film revolves around a renowned and honest lawyer who faces a moral dilemma when he is forced to defend a man accused of murder to save his daughter. The cast also includes Dia Mirza, Tilottama Shome, and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
On the other hand, ‘Dhurandhar’ is directed by Aditya Dhar. It is based on a major secret operation aimed at eradicating terrorism. The film tells the story of an undercover Indian intelligence agent infiltrating a criminal syndicate in Karachi and the political power structure in Pakistan to dismantle a terrorist network targeting India.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and Danish Pandor.
