Ranchi, June 28: Aditya Sahu, the Jharkhand BJP state president, has responded sharply to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s recent statement about constructing a temple in Amritsar. Sahu accused Kejriwal of engaging in vote bank politics, asserting that the public is aware and will not be misled by such tactics.
During a joint press conference with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal announced plans to build a grand temple dedicated to Lord Valmiki, along with Love-Kush and Mata Janaki, in the holy city of Amritsar.
Sahu stated that anyone can build a temple, but people will not fall for Kejriwal’s tricks, regardless of his efforts. He labeled Kejriwal and his party as opportunistic and deceitful, suggesting that their motivations stem from a flawed mindset.
He further criticized Kejriwal for his past governance in Delhi, claiming that he failed to provide clean drinking water to the residents. Sahu predicted that after Delhi, Kejriwal and his party would also be ousted from Punjab, never to return.
Addressing concerns about law and order in Jharkhand, Sahu remarked that the situation is precarious, with rising crimes against women and atrocities against tribal communities. He emphasized that property is being looted and developmental projects have stalled.
Reflecting on Prime Minister Modi‘s 12 years in office, Sahu noted that he is the first Prime Minister to ensure that every poor villager benefits from central government schemes.
After visiting Palamu, Sahu arrived in Latehar to meet with party workers, discussing organizational activities to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. During the meeting, he elaborated on strategies for enhancing organizational strength, outlining upcoming programs, and improving outreach at the booth level. Additionally, he promoted an environmental initiative called “Plant a Tree in the Name of Mother,” emphasizing the importance of environmental protection and social responsibility.
