Lucknow, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Lucknow has announced an exciting recruitment drive for 100 non-teaching staff nurse positions. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications until September 7.
The available positions include 40 for General candidates, 27 for OBC, 21 for SC, 2 for ST, and 10 for EWS. The online application process commenced on August 10 and will close on the specified date.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a B.Sc. Nursing degree (4-year course) from a recognized institution by the Indian Nursing Council or State Medical Faculty, or a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree (2-year course). Additionally, candidates should be registered as a nurse and midwife with the relevant council. Alternatively, a General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) diploma, along with at least two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds, is also acceptable.
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1. There are provisions for age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories.
Selection will be based on a computer-based test (CBT), merit list, biometric verification, document verification, and medical examination. Successful candidates will receive a salary in accordance with GIMS pay scale regulations.
While filling out the application, candidates need to pay the specified application fee online, which is ₹1,298 for unreserved (UR) and OBC/EWS categories, and ₹944 for SC/ST applicants. Disabled candidates from all categories in Uttar Pradesh are exempt from the registration fee.
