Abhishek Banerjee Launches Strong Attack on Central Government, Declares Bengal Resilient

Kolkata, March 7: Abhishek Banerjee, the General Secretary of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Lok Sabha MP, has launched a fierce attack on the central government and various central institutions. The senior TMC leader stated that a complete system is set against West Bengal, yet the state remains steadfast and strong.

Banerjee expressed his views on the social media platform X, writing, “The people of West Bengal versus BJP + Election Commission + ED + IT + CBI + NIA + CAPF + Governor + 20 Union Ministers + 10 Chief Ministers + Prime Minister + Honorable President + Pro-government media.”

He accused multiple central agencies and power establishments of conspiring against West Bengal. Despite this, he emphasized that the people of Bengal are resilient and prepared to face any challenge. He added, “When the entire system stands against Bengal, it only grows stronger. Move forward.”

At the end of his post, Banerjee used the hashtag ‘Abar Jeetbe Bangla,’ which translates to ‘Bengal will win again.’

It is noteworthy that in recent days, the political tension between the central and state governments in West Bengal has escalated. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to President Droupadi Murmu’s comments regarding the International Santhal Conference in West Bengal, calling it shameful and unprecedented. He stated that anyone who believes in democracy and the empowerment of tribal communities would be disheartened. The pain and sorrow expressed by the President, who hails from the tribal community, has deeply affected the people of India. He criticized the TMC government for crossing all limits and held its administration responsible for the disrespect shown to the President.

PM Modi further remarked that it is equally unfortunate that the West Bengal government is treating significant issues like Santhal culture so carelessly. The position of the President should be above politics, and its dignity must always be respected. He hopes that a spirit of improvement will awaken within the West Bengal government and the TMC.
