The airline announced on its official ‘X’ handle that flights between Jeddah and several Indian cities will continue, while flights to Doha, Riyadh, and Kuwait have been suspended until April 5, 2026.
Akasa Air clarified that flights from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, and Kozhikode to Jeddah are operating normally. However, these operations will depend on the current situation, and changes may occur. Passengers are advised to check flight details and bookings on Akasa Air’s official website or through the company’s Android and iOS apps.
On the other hand, flights to Doha (Qatar), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Kuwait will remain completely suspended until April 5, 2026. The airline is monitoring the status of these destinations in real-time and will promptly inform passengers of any changes.
To facilitate affected travelers, Akasa Air has extended its cancellation/rescheduling fee waiver policy for bookings to these three cities until April 5, 2026. Passengers can opt for a full refund, which will be returned to the original payment source within seven days. Additionally, they can reschedule their travel to a later date at no extra cost. Those who booked through travel agents or partners are advised to contact them directly.
