Youth Employment is the Biggest Need Today: CM Mohan Yadav

Indore, August 21: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized the stark contrast between India before and after 2014. He stated that providing employment to the youth is the most pressing need of the current era.

While addressing the inauguration of two modern industrial units in the Pithampur industrial area, CM Yadav noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is entering a new phase of development and self-reliance. The transformation of India is now evident on the global stage, and Madhya Pradesh is advancing alongside this developmental journey.

During the event, CM Yadav inaugurated two state-of-the-art manufacturing units, Corsis Industries and Volters Technology, with an investment of ₹850 crore from the Pratap Group in the smart industrial park of Pithampur, the largest industrial city in Madhya Pradesh. These units are expected to create new job opportunities for hundreds of young people.

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present at the event. CM Yadav remarked that the newly launched units will further enhance Madhya Pradesh’s industrial capabilities in high-tech manufacturing and clean energy.

He highlighted the importance of creating more employment opportunities for the youth and strengthening the economy. India is the world’s youngest country, and Madhya Pradesh is rich in youthful energy and talent. It is essential to provide large-scale job opportunities to harness this potential.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that the inauguration of the battery storage plant and the core manufacturing unit under the backward integration of optical fiber cable is a significant achievement for Madhya Pradesh’s industrial development. The total investment in these units is approximately ₹850 crore. These inaugurations symbolize not just the opening of two factories but also India’s rapidly changing industrial landscape and the commitment to a self-reliant India.

Shekhawat added that the battery storage plant will play a crucial role in meeting the country’s growing green energy needs, while the optical fiber unit will strengthen digital connectivity and communication infrastructure. Energy storage is a critical requirement today, and this unit in Pithampur is a significant step towards ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
