New Delhi, October 8 (Daily Kiran) : Germany’s newly appointed ambassador to India, Jasper Wieck, met with Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting focused on various aspects of strengthening defense cooperation and the strategic partnership between the two nations. Both officials emphasized advancing bilateral defense relations during their discussions.

Key topics included expanding existing defense collaborations and reinforcing mutual strategic partnerships. India and Germany have a long-standing history of cooperation across multiple sectors, with growing ties in defense being a significant component of this strategic alliance. The meeting aimed to invigorate this cooperation further.

Efforts to enhance bilateral relations between India and Germany continue across various fields. Both sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening defense collaboration. Recently, the first Air Staff Talks between the Indian and German air forces were held in New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in enhancing bilateral defense cooperation.

According to the Indian Air Force, this inaugural dialogue provided a crucial platform for both sides to deepen military collaboration and explore new areas of cooperation. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in military training, operational exchanges, and the development of military capabilities.
