Dehradun, February 20: During the AI Summit held at Bharat Mandapam, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami condemned the protest by Youth Congress workers, labeling it a direct attack on the dignity of the nation.
Dhami stated that the manner in which Congress workers attempted to tarnish India’s image at the AI Summit was deeply shameful. He emphasized that this was not merely a protest but a direct assault on the honor of the country. According to him, Congress has transformed from a political party into a symbol of anti-national sentiment.
The Chief Minister remarked that while the world recognizes India’s technological, economic, and strategic prowess, Congress continues to propagate confusion, negativity, lies, and rumors. He asserted that Congress is not just a weak opposition but a threat to national security. The public will respond to such anti-national voices, and history will not forgive them.
In a post on X, former CM Dhami highlighted that the dramatic display at the AI Summit 2026 aimed at tarnishing India’s image once again exposed Congress’s anti-national ideology. He accused Congress of challenging the self-respect of millions of Indians by promoting an agenda that aligns with the enemies of the nation. Whether it is spreading confusion regarding recent trade agreements or questioning the valor of soldiers during Operation Sindoor and Galwan, Congress has once again proven that it poses a risk not only as a weak opposition but also to national security.
BJP MP Anil Baluni also commented on X, stating that at a time when India is hosting a prestigious global AI summit showcasing its technological innovations, talent, and leadership, the Congress party chose obstruction over respect. As India strives to establish itself as a global technology powerhouse, such irresponsible behavior from Congress threatens to damage the country’s international image. Under Rahul Gandhi‘s leadership, the Congress party has rapidly presented itself as anti-national and anti-development, raising serious concerns and shame for the nation.
