Lucknow, May 13: The Yogi government is transforming Uttar Pradesh through the development of indigenous advanced cattle. The Dairy Development Department is organizing the ‘Golden Dairy Amrit Dialogue Conclave’ to engage with investors, beneficiaries, livestock farmers, dairy producers, and entrepreneurs.
On May 14, a dialogue will take place at the RBS College’s Rao Krishan Pal Singh Auditorium in Agra, focusing on livestock farmers, dairy producers, and entrepreneurs from the Agra and Aligarh divisions. This conclave aims to provide new direction for the dairy sector in Uttar Pradesh. The event will be inaugurated by the Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Political Pension, Dharmapal Singh.
The conclave marks the 50th anniversary of the Dairy Development Department, aiming to boost the rural economy and the dairy sector. Under the theme ‘Indigenous Advanced Cattle, Prosperous Investment, Secure Future – Happy Uttar Pradesh,’ farmers, livestock breeders, and investors from the Agra-Aligarh division will gather on a single platform. Discussions will cover advanced breeds of indigenous cows, investment opportunities in livestock management, and the secure future for farmers and livestock breeders, highlighting the contributions to Uttar Pradesh’s economy.
The proposed conclave in Agra will see the participation of farmers, livestock breeders, dairy producers, entrepreneurs, and investors. Beneficiaries of the Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana and the Chief Minister’s Indigenous Cow Enhancement Scheme will share their success stories. Investors and entrepreneurs will explore opportunities in dairy plants, cow shelters, and biogas sectors. Meanwhile, dairy producers will inspire other livestock farmers by sharing the positive changes brought about by government schemes.
Dairy Commissioner Dhanlaxmi reported that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the Dairy Development Department has received investment proposals totaling approximately ₹28,000 crores. Of this, over ₹5,000 crores have come from the Agra and Aligarh divisions alone. The Nand Baba Dairy Mission has already provided more than ₹500 lakhs in grants to 762 beneficiaries from both divisions.
