Yogi Adityanath Issues Strong Warning Against Comments on Akhilesh Yadavs Daughter

Azamgarh, June 13: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning to those making derogatory remarks about Akhilesh Yadav’s daughter. Recently, some individuals made inappropriate comments against the daughter of the Samajwadi Party leader. Upon learning of this, the Chief Minister promptly directed the police to file a First Information Report (FIR). He emphasized that any disrespectful comments against daughters should not be tolerated, stating that every daughter deserves respect.

“We have been raised in a culture that teaches us to regard every village girl as our own sister or daughter,” he said. Adityanath also urged Akhilesh Yadav to advise his followers to exercise restraint in their language. He pointed out that Yadav’s supporters often make disrespectful comments about women, elders, and senior leaders, indicating a need for better conduct among them. “If you cannot guide them, then hand them over to us; we will teach them,” he added.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while inaugurating and laying the foundation for 39 development projects worth over ₹955 crore in Azamgarh. At the request of ministers and local representatives, he announced that a grand statue of Maharaja Suheldev will be erected at Maharaja Suheldev University. He also instructed the administration to prepare a plan to convert the old jail into a convention center.

Adityanath highlighted Azamgarh’s glorious history, stating that it has long been a center for literary pursuits and has played a significant role in the country’s struggle for independence. He questioned why this district, rich in craftspeople, farmers, and energetic youth, should lack recognition.

He noted that before 2017, Azamgarh struggled for identity. At that time, there were no universities, the Purvanchal Expressway was not operational, and the local airport was underperforming. Crafts like the Mubarakpur black pottery and local sarees lacked a platform. However, artisans reported that since the BJP government took charge, their businesses have flourished, allowing them to earn a respectable living.

The Chief Minister stated that a new India is now gaining respect globally, contrasting it with the pre-2014 era when the country was known for corruption and insecurity. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, he asserted that the current generation is witnessing a transformed India.

He recalled the valor of Maharaja Suheldev, who thwarted foreign invaders, and criticized the divisions caused by caste, region, and family politics. Adityanath emphasized that the new India will not accept symbols of slavery, asserting that a grand memorial for Maharaja Suheldev has been established in Bahraich.

In his address, he pointed out the improved connectivity from Azamgarh to major cities like Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Lucknow, thanks to the new expressway. He also mentioned the revival of classical music traditions through local institutions and highlighted the contributions of artists promoting Bhojpuri culture.

Adityanath questioned why Azamgarh was often associated with terrorism and negative incidents in the past, attributing this to a previous government that misused youth for selfish ends. He assured that the current government has implemented schemes for women’s safety, education, and employment, ensuring that benefits reach the needy.

He concluded by stating that the labor department is establishing residential schools for underprivileged children and that every department is working towards development. “If anyone encroaches on the land of the poor or threatens the safety of daughters, we will not guarantee their safety,” he warned.
