
Noida, June 15: Under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is set to achieve another milestone in its rapidly developing infrastructure network. The ambitious Noida International Airport (Jewar) will officially commence commercial flight services today.
IndiGo Airlines will operate the inaugural flights for this historic event. According to the schedule, the first flight, numbered 6E-2278, will arrive at Noida International Airport from Lucknow at 8:05 AM, after departing at 7:05 AM. Following this, the same aircraft will depart Noida for Bengaluru at 8:35 AM, arriving in Bengaluru at 11:05 AM. The return flight, 6E-2279, will take off from Bengaluru at 3:45 PM, landing back in Noida at 6:20 PM. It will then leave for Lucknow at 6:55 PM, reaching the capital at 8:00 PM.
In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, Noida International Airport is set to become a new aviation and logistics hub for western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, and surrounding states. IndiGo has announced plans to gradually connect this airport to over 16 major cities across the country.
Jewar Airport is not just an airport; it symbolizes Uttar Pradesh’s evolving economic and industrial landscape. This project is a crucial part of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s infrastructure-based development model, which aims to establish the state as a leading center for aviation, trade, and logistics in the country.
