The weather change is expected to affect temperatures, which may drop to around 31 degrees Celsius. Continuous rainfall has also led to a satisfactory air quality index (AQI). According to the weather report, the sky will be predominantly cloudy on September 4, with moderate rain expected. Light to moderate rain is likely in the morning, accompanied by thunderstorms.
In the afternoon, moderate to heavy rain is forecasted, with the possibility of light to moderate rain returning in the evening. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 32 degrees, while the minimum could drop to 26 degrees. On September 5, little change in weather is anticipated, with maximum temperatures around 31 degrees and minimums at 25 degrees. Humidity levels are expected to remain between 75% and 85%.
Rainfall is predicted throughout the day, with thunderstorms expected in all parts of the day, particularly during the afternoon. From September 6, the weather is expected to clear up, with light rain or drizzling possible, but no severe warnings have been issued. Temperatures will remain around 32 degrees (maximum) and 25 degrees (minimum), with humidity decreasing to 65%-80%.
On September 7, partial cloud cover is expected, but no rain is forecasted. Temperatures could reach 34 degrees maximum and drop to 24 degrees minimum, with humidity levels between 55% and 70%, potentially increasing the feeling of heat. On September 8 and 9, partial cloud cover will persist, with temperatures hovering around 34 degrees. Minimum temperatures will be 25 and 26 degrees, respectively. The ongoing rains and wind have contributed to a better air quality index in Delhi-NCR.
Morning readings show the AQI at various locations: 103 in Ashok Vihar, 49 in Aaya Nagar, 104 in Bawana, 61 at Burari Crossing, 74 in the Cantonment area, 85 in Chandni Chowk, and 47 on Mathura Road. In Noida, AQI readings include 118 in Sector 125, 50 in Sector 62, 72 in Sector 1, and 98 in Sector 116. Ghaziabad recorded AQI levels of 51 in Govindpuram, 36 in Indirapuram, 111 in Loni, 67 in Sanjay Nagar, 60 in Vasundhara, and 94 in Ved Vihar-Loni.
Overall, the AQI in most areas remains in the satisfactory to moderate range, providing some relief. Meteorologists suggest that this rainfall will offer respite from the heat and humidity before the end of the monsoon season.
