Azamgarh, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh is preparing to introduce the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) soon, according to state minister Anil Rajbhar. Speaking to the media in Azamgarh, Rajbhar emphasized that the implementation of UCC is in line with a clear directive from Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Rajbhar stated, “We are fully prepared. The goal set by the central minister is necessary for the country and society. It must happen. We welcome states where UCC has already been implemented, and it will soon be enacted in Uttar Pradesh as well.”
The minister also touched upon India’s growing influence on the global stage, particularly in relation to BRICS. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in establishing strong ties with various nations, which has garnered support for issues raised by India among BRICS member countries. Rajbhar attributed this success to Modi’s strong leadership.
In a critique of political opponents, Rajbhar targeted Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal and Congress MP Pawan Khera, labeling them as deceptive figures in politics who mislead the youth.
On the topic of madrasas, he expressed agreement with West Bengal minister Dilip Ghosh, asserting that his party envisions madrasas producing doctors and engineers. He noted that any links to terrorism from these institutions should naturally raise questions.
Rajbhar also mentioned that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organizes a “Seva Pakhwada” every year to celebrate Prime Minister Modi‘s birthday, highlighting the party’s gratitude for his long public service. He noted significant enthusiasm among party workers for the various programs associated with this celebration.
