New Delhi, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has announced the formation of a new media department for the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee. On Monday, Pawan Khera, a member of the Congress Working Committee and head of the AICC Media and Publicity Department, released the list of appointments.
The newly established media department includes positions such as vice-chairpersons, regional coordinators, state spokespersons, state media panelists, district spokespersons, research leads, state researchers, and state publicity coordinators.
Priyanka Gupta and Sanjeev Kumar Singh have been appointed as vice-chairpersons of the media department. Six regional coordinators have been designated to oversee different areas of the state: Moin Hasan Khan (West region), Rajendra Sagar (Braj region), Prem Narayan Pal (Bundelkhand region), Dr. Purvi Verma (Awadh region), Om Prakash Saroj (Prayag region), and Puneet Pathak (East region).
A robust team of state spokespersons has also been formed. The list includes Annu Prasad Paswan, Siddhi Shri, Sachin Rawat, Ramesh Kashyap, Alimul Khan, Mohammad Farhan, Meraj Hussain, Syed Mazhar Hussain, SU Fruqi, Umashankar Pandey, Anshu Awasthi, Dr. Hilal Naqvi, Pradeep Singh Advocate, Achintya Tripathi, Man Singh Chouhan, Pawan Dixit, Ravi Pratap Singh, Vishal Lodhi Rajput, Professor Ashok Kumar Kaithal, Prashant Singh Raikwar, Gaurav Jain, Prerna Jubairi, Dr. Rahul Rajbhar, and Piyush Yadav. Others included are Minhaj Khan, Anil Yadav, Pankhudi Pathak, Ishaan Tyagi, Nighat Abbas, Dolly Sharma, Abhimanyu Tyagi, Pratima Gond, SK Nigam, Amar Habibullah, Vishwambhar Nath Prajapati, Vijay Kumar Pal, Dr. Umesh Gond, Amar Deep Jain, Ashish Anand, Akib Nadeem Qureshi, Arvind Singh, Suraj Bhan Singh, Dr. Ratna N. Pandey, Asif Jah, and Sadaf Jafar.
The state media panelists consist of Murli Manohar, Usha Rani Kori, Saroj Bharti, Rajkumar Maurya, Malik Javed Ansari, Kanhaiya Lal Yadav, Ram Roop Patel, Arshad Raza, Hammam Wahid, Chandni Ahmed, Haseeb Ahmed, Rajesh Singh, Harinath Upadhyay, Ashok Singh, Anil Sharma, Anuj Gautam, Ajay Chandra Choubey, Vinayak Dhar Dwivedi, Rajesh Tiwari, Agha Yunus, and Tamjeed Ahmed. District spokespersons include Rahul Rai, Himanshu Chaudhary, Vivek Ojha, Shiv Kumar Gautam, Mohit Shyam, Dr. Yashwant Singh, and Savitri Tripathi. Hilal Naqvi has been appointed as the head of research.
The team of state researchers includes Varun Shekhar Singh, Kanchan Varshney, Mohammad D Afzal, Karan Kumar Kushwaha, Abhimanyu Kumar, Abhishek Kumar Singh, Mohit Pratap Singh, Teerath Raj Mishra, Ritesh Yadav, Akash Kumar Chaurasiya, and Abhishek Tyagi.
State publicity coordinators comprise Akshay Singh, Aman Kumar, Anurag Prakash, Sangeeta Srivastava, Prince Kumar Maurya, Vaibhavish Chandra, Shiv Murti Yadav, Umesh Kumar Gautam, Shameem Uddin, Sandeep Kumar, and Anjali Upadhyay.
The announcement of these appointments was made by the AICC headquarters in New Delhi. The restructuring of the media department aims to strengthen the party’s communication, publicity, and research mechanisms in Uttar Pradesh.
