In a post on social media platform X, Gore described the visit as a “fantastic start to Holi.” He was accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Christopher Landau and U.S. Space Commander General Whiting. The temple is a remarkable representation of India’s spiritual heritage and enduring values. Gore wished everyone a heartfelt Holi.
Several foreign leaders also shared their Holi greetings. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese congratulated the festival on X, noting that for many Australians of Hindu and South Asian descent, Holi is a time to celebrate shared history, heritage, and traditions. He emphasized the festival’s timeless themes of good triumphing over evil, the importance of friendship and forgiveness, and the unity of the human spirit. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon also posted Holi wishes on X.
Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, expressed his heartfelt wishes for Holi to all celebrating in India and around the world on X. He drew parallels with Purim, celebrated in Israel, where goodness always prevails over evil and light conquers darkness.
Robert Maxian, the Ambassador of Slovakia to India, conveyed Holi greetings from the staff of the Slovak Republic Embassy based in New Delhi.
