Raipur, March 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme from Guwahati on Friday. Farmers in Chhattisgarh have directly received this benefit in their bank accounts. They expressed their gratitude, stating that under Modi’s government, farmers are thriving.
Farmers thanked Prime Minister Modi, noting that the funds from the PM-KISAN scheme significantly aid their agricultural activities. They mentioned that this financial support helps them purchase seeds, fertilizers, and other essential farming supplies. Farmers highlighted that the Prime Minister is consistently working for their welfare, providing direct benefits through various initiatives.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai spoke to the media, declaring that it is a joyous day for farmers across the nation and the state. Under the PM-KISAN scheme, over 9 crore farmers received a total of ₹18,650 crores in this 22nd installment.
He noted that 24,71,498 farmers in Chhattisgarh benefited from this scheme. Small and marginal farmers in the state are utilizing this support to enhance their agricultural practices.
A beneficiary of the PM-KISAN scheme shared his happiness with a news agency. Farmer Sundar Singh Netam stated that the financial assistance makes farming much easier. It helps in timely irrigation and fertilization, thereby improving their economic conditions.
Another farmer, Santosh Kumar Verma, remarked that this financial aid acts as a crucial support system for them. He emphasized that no one else works as diligently for farmers and the nation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi does.
Farmer Shri Ram Narayan Verma mentioned that farmers often face economic hardships. The PM-KISAN scheme provides them with much-needed strength, with the ₹2,000 installment offering some relief.
Sevak Ram Sahu added that the PM-KISAN scheme is greatly benefiting farmers. The annual ₹6,000, distributed in three installments, is providing them with financial stability.
