Triple Murder Shocks Sydney: Man Allegedly Kills Parents and Brother

Sydney, May 3: A shocking triple murder case has emerged in Sydney, Australia, where police believe a man allegedly killed his parents and brother while under the influence of drugs. The suspect was later taken into custody upon returning to the crime scene.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Juliet Close in the Rosemeadow area of Campbelltown. According to ‘The Sydney Morning Herald,’ the 30-year-old man called emergency services around 1:30 AM, claiming that his brother had attacked him.

When police and paramedics arrived, they found the man’s 65-year-old mother and 64-year-old father severely injured inside the home. The mother was taken to the back of the house but could not be saved. The father suffered a serious head injury and was transported to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Following this, police searched the premises and discovered the body of the 25-year-old brother in one of the rooms.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the 32-year-old eldest brother allegedly attacked the victims with sharp and blunt weapons, possibly a hammer, before fleeing the scene.

Campbelltown Police Superintendent Grant Healy stated, “This is a very large and horrific crime scene. We have not yet found any weapons, but the investigation is ongoing.”

He described the scene as extremely gruesome, with blood splattered everywhere.

According to police, the suspect returned to the scene in a silver car around 2:30 AM, where he was apprehended. He is currently being held at Campbelltown Police Station for questioning, and formal charges have yet to be filed against him.

Superintendent Healy mentioned that the police had no prior knowledge of this family and did not anticipate such an incident.

Sources connected to the investigation indicate that the suspect may have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident, although police have not officially confirmed this.

Authorities are urging local residents to come forward with any information if they saw a suspicious silver sedan in the area during the time of the incident. Footage from the scene shows a silver car being towed away, with forensic teams collecting evidence.
