Mumbai, June 17: The highly anticipated spy action film ‘Alpha’ from Yash Raj Films has finally unveiled its trailer. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this film, and the trailer has successfully heightened their excitement by revealing glimpses of the story, characters, and thrilling action sequences.
The trailer runs for 2 minutes and 33 seconds, packed with action, suspense, emotion, and stunning visuals. The makers have disclosed significant details about the film’s plot, including Alia Bhatt’s character background, Bobby Deol’s menacing role, and Hrithik Roshan’s cameo.
The trailer opens with a young girl named Sita, a name given by Bobby Deol’s character. He states, “Her mother’s name was Janaki, and we will make her Sita.” This girl represents Alia Bhatt’s character. As her entry is showcased, a voiceover by Alia narrates, “The story goes like this: there was a demon. Pride was his weapon. He ruled through deception and won with lies. One day, he took a princess to his home. History knows how that story ended. But this time, Sita has come to burn Lanka herself.”
In the trailer, Alia Bhatt showcases her most powerful action avatar yet. She confronts numerous enemies, wielding guns and causing explosions. Her character is depicted in a highly impactful manner. Alongside Alia, Sharvari Wagh plays a crucial role in the storyline.
Throughout several action scenes, Sharvari is seen fighting shoulder to shoulder with Alia against their adversaries. In some sequences, the two even engage in combat with each other.
Bobby Deol returns with his enigmatic persona. Initially, viewers speculated that he was Alia Bhatt’s character’s real father, but the trailer clarifies his role. He kidnaps Alia during her childhood for the ‘Alpha’ mission and trains her in a brutal manner.
Bobby Deol’s character, Fateh, is intensely passionate about the ‘Alpha Program’ mission, eliminating anyone who stands in his way.
Anil Kapoor also plays a significant role in the film, appearing as the RAW chief. In the trailer, he advises Sita on the strategies needed to confront Fateh and why he should be feared.
The biggest surprise of the trailer is Hrithik Roshan’s entry, revealed at the end with a glimpse of his eyes. He will reprise his role as the popular spy agent Kabir Luthra in the film.
