Amit Jani Claims Threats Over Kala Hiran Release Amid Controversy

Mumbai, June 18: The controversy surrounding the film ‘Kala Hiran’ is escalating. Producer Amit Jani has reported receiving continuous threats ahead of the film’s release. He alleges that he has been targeted with threatening phone calls and messages from various sources.

In a recent interview, Jani expressed his concerns and detailed the nature of the threats he is facing. He stated, “We have already released the teaser for ‘Kala Hiran.’ Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court to halt our film’s release. The hearing is scheduled for July 19. Previously, I received numerous threats from individuals associated with the D Company. We did not take these threats seriously, as they are part of their toolkit gang, which is paid. We have previously mentioned that Salman is operating on two fronts. On one hand, he pretends to take legal action and issues notices in the High Court, while on the other hand, he orchestrates threats from thousands of people.”

Jani further elaborated, “When I arrived in Jodhpur at midnight, I received a message from Shehzad Bhatti, who has been declared a terrorist by Indian agencies and works for the ISI. When I did not respond, he messaged again, stating he wanted to talk. When I answered his call, he informed me that he knew I was in Jodhpur. This made me feel like he was tracking me. Previously, Lawrence Bishnoi’s anti-gang had plotted attacks on my home and office. The DGP of Haryana also informed me that four gangs there want to kill me and could strike at any moment. This is why I have been provided security by the Ministry of Home Affairs.”

He continued, “Shehzad Bhatti sent me around 20 to 25 messages, including pictures of weapons. He claimed there was no friendship with Lawrence Bishnoi or enmity with Salman Khan, so why was I getting involved? He offered that if I befriended them, they would pay me more than what I invested in the film. However, if I opposed them, they could kill anyone anywhere in India, Pakistan, Canada, or the world. He also mentioned he could kill me in a bomb blast and that he knew my location. He has been threatening me not to release ‘Kala Hiran,’ warning that if the film is released, it would lead to enmity between us.”

Jani stated, “I have reported all the calls and messages I received, along with the threats from the Pakistani terrorist Shehzad Bhatti, to the Home Minister, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the DGP of Rajasthan, the police commissioner of Jodhpur, and other officials. I am heading to Udaipur to inform the SSP there as well. I have also notified all relevant authorities, including the CRPF and VIP security cell.”

He concluded, “I am making a film, not fighting a gang war. I receive threats from Pakistan, Kashmir, and Delhi. These include threats of beheading, being killed upon arrival in Mumbai, being abducted from the airport and thrown into the sea, and acid attacks. You can imagine the mental toll on someone who receives 1,000 threats daily.”
