New Delhi, June 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a community event in Paris, where he emphasized India’s economic, social, and infrastructure achievements over the past 12 years.
Addressing the Indian community in Paris, PM Modi described the city as the “City of Lights,” a vibrant place filled with art, ideas, and innovation. He noted that the diverse Indian diaspora enriches the city, bringing colors from various states like Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

He highlighted that one of the significant achievements of these 12 years is the confidence of 1.4 billion Indians. “Today’s India and its youth are dreaming big. Farmers are moving forward with new possibilities, and women are showcasing new leadership. Thus, these 12 years have not just been about achievements but about elevating India’s aspirations.”
He pointed out that the world is currently experiencing uncertainty and turmoil. In these challenging times, the India-France partnership has become a strong foundation of trust, stability, and cooperation. This year, the relationship was elevated to a “Special Global Strategic Partnership.”
