Tragic Suicide of 13-Year-Old Student in Jabalpur After Failing Class 8

Jabalpur, March 29: A heartbreaking incident occurred in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, where a 13-year-old student took his own life after failing his eighth-grade exams. The boy, originally from the village of Jhukehi in Maihar district, was staying at his uncle’s house during this time. Following the announcement of the exam results, he became mentally distressed, leading him to take this tragic step.

Upon receiving the news, police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. An investigation is underway, with authorities questioning family members to ascertain the reasons behind the suicide.

In a separate incident in the Katangi police jurisdiction, a collection agent from a finance company was robbed. Reports indicate that the agent was carrying approximately 30,000 rupees when he was intercepted by 4-5 assailants on motorcycles. They stopped him and fled with the money.

However, one of the robbers ran out of petrol during the escape, making it difficult for him to get far. Local residents acted quickly, apprehending him and handing him over to the police. Authorities have taken the suspect into custody for questioning and are searching for his accomplices. Following these incidents, police have heightened vigilance in the area and assured strict action against the perpetrators.

Additionally, in another case, police arrested a man accused of raping a young woman under a false identity. The suspect, Abdul Faraz Khan, befriended the victim using the name ‘Rahul’ and exploited her under the pretense of marriage for nearly a year. According to the victim, he took her to Jabalpur and other cities, where he also assaulted her.
