Beijing, June 29: The fourth China International Supply Chain Expo recently took place in Beijing. Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerged as a prominent highlight at the expo. Leading global companies showcased their achievements, making this event a vital platform for foreign firms seeking to enter China’s manufacturing sector.
Tso Quoching, the global CEO of the American Newegg Group, shared with CMG reporters that the expo gathered AI resources in one location, which is highly beneficial. “We can utilize these resources to collaborate with various enterprises, enriching our platform,” he stated.
Yang Yuan, chairman of the supply chain board for Procter & Gamble in Greater China, noted that China is advancing in automation and AI applications. “In the future, we will focus more on AI and automation to enhance our supply chain standards,” he added.
Kou Yuxiao, global vice president of Medtronic, Inc., told CMG that when aiming to increase production capacity in the Chinese supply chain, it can quickly enhance productivity. “When quality control is a priority, it will enforce strict quality measures. It is the most cost-effective option,” he explained.
Wang Qichun, chairman of Intel’s board in China, revealed that they are currently collaborating closely with over 15,000 enterprises in the country. “We integrate superior computing technologies and applications with local businesses, enhancing productivity,” he said.
Leaders from several multinational companies attending the expo conveyed to CMG reporters that China’s supply chain is a robust option for future connectivity.
