Roy stated, “The pace of work in the TV industry is incredibly fast. Often, an episode is shot today and aired the very next day or within a short time. In this rapid environment, actors must always be prepared and deliver their characters with full energy. A large production team works behind every call time and shooting schedule, and actors need to maintain balance amidst all this. It’s crucial to remain calm and focused, as rushed work can sometimes diminish the impact.”
She added, “Success in the TV industry does not come overnight. Many believe that a single good scene or performance will bring them instant recognition, but the reality is different. Gaining a name in television requires consistent effort over time. While one or two good scenes can lead to popularity, the key to lasting success is continuous hard work and patience. Even if an actor goes viral on social media, recognition in the TV industry builds gradually and strengthens over time.”
Roy explained the difference between popularity and success, stating, “Popularity is often temporary and can be quickly gained through a viral scene, discussion, or social media trend. It does not last long. In contrast, success is a lengthy process that requires ongoing effort, improving one’s acting skills, and enhancing every character portrayal. Those who wish to achieve lasting success in this industry must understand that merely staying in the spotlight is not enough; maintaining consistency in their work is essential.”
She concluded, “Patience has become a mindset for me. It has made me more serious and calm about my work. Now, I don’t rush through every scene; instead, I try to understand and take my time to perform.”
