Lucknow, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Minister Danish Azad Ansari of the Uttar Pradesh government has criticized the opposition alliance known as ‘Indi’, highlighting the escalating tensions between the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress. He stated that the alliance is far from cohesive, with the differences between the two parties now becoming apparent.
In an interview, Ansari emphasized that the SP’s promotion of “politics of confusion and hatred” will not be forgiven by the people of Uttar Pradesh. He predicted that the SP would face its most significant defeat yet in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
Ansari pointed out that the two leading parties in the ‘Indi’ alliance are now fielding candidates against each other. He urged both parties to clarify their political positions and intentions to the public. Furthermore, he criticized the absence of several parties in recent alliance meetings, noting that many were missing from the gathering held on September 30. He suggested that this lack of participation indicates ongoing turmoil within the alliance, making the fractures in ‘Indi’ more evident.
He declared the ‘Indi’ alliance a complete failure in Uttar Pradesh, asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a commanding majority in the 2027 elections.
On a different note, Ansari praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy and its impact on India’s global standing. He mentioned a conversation between the Prime Minister and a captain, which highlighted India’s valor and achievements on the world stage. Ansari also noted that the captain and his family would receive a grand welcome upon their return to India.
