
Dharapuram, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Vijay of Tamil Nadu held a road show in Dharapuram on Sunday, rallying support for Tamilaga Vetri Katchi (TVK) candidate Sathya Bhama ahead of the assembly by-election scheduled for October 6.
Thousands of TVK supporters gathered along the route to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister. Accompanying him in the campaign vehicle was Sathya Bhama, who urged voters to back her candidacy.
This road show was part of the party’s campaign for the reserved assembly seat in Tiruppur district, where a total of 22 candidates, including those from various political parties and independents, are contesting.
The election will see a five-way contest among TVK, DMK, AIADMK, Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), and CPI. As the election date approaches, candidates and their supporters are intensifying efforts to connect with voters across the constituency.
Vijay’s presence attracted a large crowd of party workers as the campaign vehicle passed through Dharapuram, with supporters lining the streets. Standing alongside Sathya Bhama, the Chief Minister called upon the public for their support.
