Strengthening India-Israel Ties: Neeraj Kumar on PM Modis Visit

Patna, February 25: JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Israel. He stated that this visit will significantly strengthen the relationship between the two nations.

In a conversation in Patna, Kumar expressed confidence that Modi’s trip will not only enhance India-Israel relations but also benefit India through Israel’s traditional expertise and advancements in agriculture. He believes this will ultimately benefit the citizens of India.

Regarding the central cabinet’s approval to rename Kerala to ‘Keralam,’ Kumar noted that this change reflects the aspirations of the local people. The name change is part of a process that aligns with the sentiments of the community.

On U.S. President Donald Trump’s controversial statement about Pakistan, Kumar remarked that the impact of Trump’s intervention is something only he can clarify. He emphasized that Trump’s comments regarding Pakistan require a response from the Pakistani government to confirm their accuracy.

Discussing the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Kumar highlighted that as the country’s Home Minister, Shah will address various developments in the Seemanchal region, including the establishment of an agriculture college named after APJ Abdul Kalam, the development of the Purnia airport, and the enhancement of Waqf properties. He assured that Shah will make decisions related to the responsibilities of the Home Ministry during his visit.

Prime Minister Modi has stated that there is a strong and multifaceted strategic partnership between India and Israel. He noted that relations have significantly strengthened over the past few years and that he will discuss ways to enhance cooperation in various fields with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
