Special Jaipur-Bandra Train to Run via Chittorgarh During Festive Season, Says Railways

Chittorgarh, August 14 (Kiran News): In view of the upcoming festive season, Indian Railways has decided to operate a special train between Jaipur and Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) to ease travel for passengers. This move is expected to offer significant relief to travellers from Chittorgarh and surrounding areas, as the train will pass through the city. The service will be operated by North Western Railway.

Chief Public Relations Officer Shashi Kiran stated that this special train is being introduced temporarily to manage the surge in passenger traffic during the festive period and to ensure smoother travel.

Train Schedule and Operations

Train number 09725 will depart from Jaipur for Bandra Terminus on Sunday, 17 August, at 8:10 AM and will reach Chittorgarh by 2:00 PM, where it will halt for 5 minutes. It will then resume its journey at 2:05 PM, reaching Bandra Terminus the next day at 4:55 AM.

On the return route, Train number 09726 will depart from Bandra on Monday, 18 August, at 9:30 AM, reaching Chittorgarh at 12:05 AM (midnight). After a 5-minute stop, it will depart at 12:10 AM for Jaipur, arriving there at 6:45 AM the next day.

Route and Halts

The train will halt at several major stations, including Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bijaynagar, Mandal, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali. This will provide convenient travel options to passengers from all these cities.

Coach Composition

The special train will consist of 22 coaches, including:

  • 2 Second AC coaches

  • 6 Third AC coaches

  • 1 Third AC Economy coach

  • 7 Sleeper (Second Class) coaches

  • 4 General (Unreserved) coaches

  • 2 Power Car coaches
