Train Services Temporarily Affected Due to Non-Interlocking Work in Chakradharpur Division

West Singhbhum, July 31 (H.S.): The Railway Administration has announced temporary changes in train operations in the Chakradharpur division due to ongoing non-interlocking and development works across various sections. The changes, made in the interest of passenger safety and convenience, include train cancellations, route diversions, and partial terminations.

Several MEMU Trains Cancelled

According to the official update, the following MEMU passenger trains have been fully cancelled on specific dates:

  • Train numbers 68043/68044 operating between Tatanagar and Rourkela (both directions)

  • Train numbers 68025/68026 running between Chakradharpur and Rourkela (both directions)

These trains will remain cancelled on the following dates: August 30, September 6, 13, 20, 27, and October 4, 2025.

Rishikesh–Puri Express Route Diverted

Express train number 18478, which runs from Yog Nagari Rishikesh to Puri and departs on August 29, September 5, 12, 19, 26, and October 3, 2025, will be operated on a diverted route via Ib, Jharsuguda Road, Sambalpur City, and Cuttack.
