Mumbai, June 18: Amidst the political turmoil and factional splits within the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), party leader Shaina NC has launched a sharp rebuttal against Sanjay Raut. She stated that Raut has lost his mental balance and that his responses do not align with Maharashtra’s cultural ethos. According to her, aggressive rhetoric and destructive politics will not solve any issues.
In a conversation on Thursday, Shaina NC remarked, “Sanjay Raut has lost his mental equilibrium. Perhaps it is time for him to admit himself to Thane Municipal Hospital, as his approach reflects a style of politics that is not representative of Maharashtra’s culture.”
She attributed the unity of legislators and MPs to the popularity and working style of Eknath Shinde. Shaina claimed that many representatives were disillusioned with the previous methods and chose a new path for this reason.
Shaina NC emphasized, “Eknath Shinde is a grassroots leader, and people are joining our party daily. Sanjay Raut should reflect on why his party has fractured multiple times. When MLAs and MPs, who previously garnered 400,000 to 500,000 votes, leave the party, dismissing them with insults raises questions about the integrity of democracy. Isn’t it poor governance when your own leaders do not engage with their workers?”
She advised that instead of blaming others, it is time for introspection. “In 2019, when you decided to ally with the Congress for power, everything was fine. Now, when your own MPs wish to leave your leadership, you accuse other parties. How is that justified?” she questioned.
Shaina NC concluded, “There is a fundamental constitutional provision for a two-thirds majority. If a leader wishes to leave, it is their constitutional right. Stop casting blame and making accusations.”
