Mumbai, June 22: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has reacted to Aditya Thackeray’s statement, which suggested that candidates winning on their ticket would struggle if they received a ticket from the BJP.
In a conversation with reporters, Nirupam emphasized that all individuals who have joined their ranks possess their own strength and political identity. He stated that when these candidates enter the electoral arena, they will receive support from both Shiv Sena and BJP. In this context, he advised others not to harbor any unrealistic expectations.
Nirupam further criticized those who have abandoned the ideals of Balasaheb Thackeray and Hindutva, labeling them as the biggest traitors.
He asserted that no one can prevent the assistance provided by the central government. All MPs and MLAs aim for developmental work in their constituencies for the benefit of their voters. He questioned whether it is wrong for an MP to seek maximum benefits from government schemes by being close to power.
Additionally, he targeted Sanjay Raut, calling him a dishonest person who constantly engages in false propaganda. Nirupam claimed that leaders from Shiv Sena (UBT) are leaving because their trust in their leader is waning. He noted that their leader has become inactive and prefers to run the government from Matoshree, leading to a mass exodus from the party. He insisted that financial incentives are not the reason behind this shift.
Nirupam predicted that by 2029, Uddhav Thackeray’s party would cease to exist due to growing public dissatisfaction with its leadership. He suggested that other leaders and MPs would also depart, leaving only Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray in the party.
