Dheerendra Shastri Announces Relief Efforts for Nepal Flood Victims

Chhatarpur, August 27: Dheerendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham, has announced food and medical assistance for the victims of the recent disaster in Nepal. This initiative aims to show solidarity with those affected by the sudden floods.

In a conversation regarding the situation, Shastri expressed, “It is a terrifying situation. Seeing the images and videos has deeply saddened me. I pray to Bageshwar Lord Balaji for all of Nepal. I want to tell the people of Nepal not to worry; we are with you. India stands with Nepal, and Bageshwar Dham is with you. This is a time of sorrow, but also a time to act. I urge every member of the Bageshwar family to step forward for service.”

He called upon individuals from all communities to support Nepal. A team from Bageshwar Dham is set to travel to Nepal to provide relief and organize food and medical supplies.

Shastri emphasized the longstanding relationship between India and Nepal, stating, “The bond between India and Nepal is like that of family. Though they appear as two nations, they are essentially one. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands with everyone during this difficult time.”

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Shastri extended his greetings to people across the country and the world. He advised, “After tying the rakhi, whether you give your sister a gift or not, make a promise. I will raise my voice against the atrocities faced by women and girls in this country and will never look at any sister or daughter with ill intent. This is a promise you must make to your sister.”

He also highlighted the cultural reverence for mothers in India, stating that they are always worshipped as goddesses.
