New Delhi, August 19: Senior BJP leader Sangeeta Yadav expressed her gratitude to the party’s top leadership upon her appointment as the national minister. She stated that she will strive to fulfill the new responsibilities assigned to her with complete dedication and contribute 100 percent to her work.
In an interview, Sangeeta Yadav said, “First of all, I would like to thank my top leadership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President Nitin Gadkari. They deemed me worthy of such a significant responsibility. I will do my utmost to live up to their trust.”
She mentioned that she has previously been entrusted with electoral responsibilities in several states, which she fulfilled according to the party’s directives. “The responsibilities will now increase. I am confident that I will give my 100 percent,” she added.
Regarding the preparations for the Uttar Pradesh elections, Sangeeta Yadav emphasized that the BJP is not just active during elections but works among the public 24/7 throughout the year. Party workers reach out to inform people about government schemes and achievements. She believes that there is no need for a special policy for the Uttar Pradesh elections, as she will engage with the public based on the BJP government’s work over the past ten years and its welfare schemes.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Sudhir Gupta commented on the National Testing Agency’s dismissal of over 600 employees in connection with paper leak cases, stating that the country is continuously strengthening its law and order.
He expressed satisfaction that the country is improving its systems through its laws. “It is essential to align the strictness of laws with public sentiment. Those who commit wrongdoings should be punished, whether they are involved in corruption or other serious activities,” Gupta stated.
He further noted that whether it is the examination system or the security of the nation’s borders, the government is consistently advancing with reforms and working in accordance with the expectations of the citizens.
BJP MP Gupta also raised questions regarding Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement related to ‘Vande Mataram.’ He expressed surprise at the party’s stance on this issue, considering the historical significance of ‘Vande Mataram’ in the freedom struggle.
He concluded by stating that he does not understand why Congress has an objection to ‘Vande Mataram’ today and urged them to move beyond their extremist thinking.
