Jaipur, August 20: The Rajasthan Assembly session is set to commence on Thursday. A day prior, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators, urging them to actively participate in the proceedings and effectively present the state government’s achievements, development initiatives, and future plans in the House.
Addressing the BJP legislative party meeting at his residence on Wednesday, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is fulfilling its promises to the public with unprecedented speed.
He encouraged the legislators to prioritize discussions around the government’s welfare policies and development programs during the Assembly sessions.
CM Sharma emphasized that the welfare of the people is the core objective of the BJP government, which has successfully implemented numerous schemes and projects across Rajasthan.
He claimed that, compared to the previous Congress government’s five years, the current administration has accomplished ‘extraordinary work’ in just two and a half years.
Sharma noted that the BJP government’s ‘double engine’ model has provided a clear direction for comprehensive development in Rajasthan.
According to him, the state has made significant progress in key areas such as water, electricity, industry, employment, and road infrastructure.
The Chief Minister appealed to the legislators to effectively communicate these achievements to the public and respond to the alleged misinformation and political criticisms directed at the government.
Targeting the Congress party, Bhajanlal Sharma accused them of being associated with corruption and appeasement politics, failing to fulfill their promises to the people.
He urged BJP legislators to raise public awareness about Congress’s political record and to caution the electorate against placing their trust in the opposition party.
The Chief Minister stressed that it is the crucial responsibility of elected representatives to raise public issues in the Assembly while also highlighting the positive impacts of government schemes.
Bhajanlal Sharma called upon party legislators to remain united and proactive, ensuring that the government’s vision, achievements, and development efforts are robustly presented during the Assembly session.
