Rajasthan Government Addresses Paper Leak Issues Amidst Political Criticism

Jaipur, August 20: Rajasthan’s Minister Jogaram Patel has addressed several pressing issues, including paper leaks, the state assembly session, local elections, and statements from Congress leaders regarding “Vande Mataram.” He emphasized that both the central and state governments are committed to ensuring transparency in examination processes and are implementing strict measures against paper leak incidents.

In a recent discussion, Patel pointed out that multiple paper leak cases occurred during the Congress regime in Rajasthan. He noted that similar incidents have been reported in states currently governed by Congress. Recently, significant unrest among students was observed in two states due to paper leaks, yet Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders have remained silent. According to Patel, their concern for students’ interests appears limited to states where their political agendas are served.

Patel stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government is taking the issue seriously, with stringent laws against paper leaks now in place. The BJP government maintains a ‘zero tolerance’ policy toward such irregularities. Approximately 400 examinations have been conducted in Rajasthan, none of which have raised suspicions. The Chief Minister’s commitment to conducting transparent examinations is proving successful.

Responding to opposition criticism regarding the duration of the assembly session, Patel remarked that a comparison of the current government’s operational days with those during the Congress era shows that the present administration has worked longer. He described the opposition’s preemptive accusations as a reflection of their narrow-mindedness. Decisions regarding the session’s length and legislative activities are made during the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meetings, and such allegations before these meetings indicate a lack of genuine interest in participating in assembly proceedings.

Minister Patel asserted that under the Chief Minister’s leadership, the state government has made significant progress in development initiatives. He expressed confidence in the party workers and the strength of the organization, stating that the BJP is fully prepared for the upcoming local elections.

Meanwhile, in response to actions taken against numerous employees linked to the NTA, Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Baidya emphasized the central government’s focus on transparency. He highlighted that the future, opportunities, and qualifications of children and youth are among the government’s top priorities. To realize the vision of a ‘Developed India,’ it is essential to provide adequate support and opportunities to nurture the talents of the youth. The Prime Minister is serious about the future of young people, and the government is continuously working for their benefit.

Regarding statements from Congress leaders related to “Vande Mataram,” Patel asserted that it belongs to everyone and should be respected by all. He accused Congress leaders of adopting a disrespectful attitude towards this issue.
